During our recent stay at Monte, we found a unique blend of luxury and value that truly resonated with our family's travel style. Agostinho and Ofelia, the lovely hosts, were exceptionally welcoming, even late at night, ensuring we felt right at home. The breakfast spread was impressive, featuring homemade orange juice and local cheeses-a delightful way to start the day. The rooms were clean and comfortable, equipped with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, perfect for unwinding after our excursions. We appreciated the well-equipped shared kitchen, complete with cookware, utensils, and tea and coffee facilities, making it convenient for those late-night snacks. The outdoor swimming pool offered stunning views, particularly during sunrise and sunset, providing a serene oasis after a day of activities. The quiet surroundings, being the last building on the road, made relaxation easy, yet we were also close to several golf courses-ideal for sport enthusiasts. This hotel strikes a fine balance between luxury and cost-effectiveness, making it a wise choice for travelers looking for a peaceful retreat.
